Get ready for the inaugural Columbus YP Week all across Columbus! It’s a collaborative calendar of events and activities focused on all there is to do around the city for 20- and 30-somethings. Columbus-area young professionals and college students are invited to attend any and all events included here throughout our week-long efforts, including networking mixers, leadership workshops, volunteer efforts, fitness activities, social gatherings, and more to get more connected and to explore the Columbus region. Help support Student Success Stores' work to remove barriers students' face to focusing on their education...and whether or not their crush likes them back. Join the young professionals of LINC for a fun evening sorting and stocking materials and building hygiene kits and snack packs.
We'll provide music and light refreshments to get this "service party" going. Following the activity volunteers will enjoy a tour of the school.Each volunteer will receive a free LINC t-shirt.
Student Success Stores are free stores that operate in three of Columbus' highest poverty middle schools. The stores provide healthy snacks, school supplies and hygiene items at no cost to students in need.
**Depending on the number of volunteers we may split into two groups and send one to Mifflin Middle School and one to Columbus Global Academy. Volunteers will receive an email the week before the event to confirm the location.
