Now in its seventh year, the Ohio Emerging Leaders Summit is a leadership development event in the capital city of Columbus. Every spring, we bring together passionate, smart, and engaged young professionals and college students from across Ohio to network and connect for success. All are welcome to attend.
This year’s event will be hosted at Franklin University's Ross Auditorium in downtown Columbus on Friday, April 28th. A summit pass is $25 and includes:
8:00am - Networking Breakfast & Coffee
9:00am - Summit Welcome
9:05am - "Elevator Pitch" Networking Activity I
9:15am - Keynote Speaker: Alex Sheen, Founder of Because I Said I Would
10:00am - Columbus: Competing for tourists, talent and investment
Experience Columbus Associate Director of PR Megumi Robinson, and Jeff Scott, Vice President at Fahlgren Mortine, share insights and the thought process behind creating a campaign focused on recruiting young professionals from cities such as Chicago and D.C. Together with the audience, they’ll examine what makes Columbus so appealing to young professionals and consider what’s next.
11:00am - 5 Slides in 5 Minutes
You'll hear from five up-and-coming young leaders who will each have 5 minutes (and 5 slides) to tell their story on emerging leadership.
11:30am-1:30pm - The Executive Luncheon
The Executive Luncheon is a unique roundtable experience meant to connect Columbus-area young professionals with community leaders and C-Suite executives to exchange success stories and tips over a midday lunch event! You will be seated at a roundtable with a local executive and up to six fellow emerging leaders. Lunch and beverages are included. Click here for a list of our confirmed executives.
1:45pm - "Speed Networking" Activity II
A summit pass also includes free parking all day.
